installing nerf bars.....HELP

i just bought some used smittybuilt nerf bars and it did not come with instructions or hardware....where do i start?? From the looks of it i have to drill some holes (no big deal for this girl) but can anyone give me some advice on what kind of hardware and how to install these things. Thank you guys!!!

I would not drill holes in the frame to mount them. I used to run Smittybilt nerfbars years ago but I had them welded onto the frame instead. It only took the local welder a few minutes and I didn't have to worry about any mounting hardware coming loose. And don't think of welded nerfbars as permanent, I later took mine off with just a little grinding of the welds. Now that the welds have been ground off, the frame, since I never drilled holes in it, is as strong as it was before.

I agree with Jerry. Welding is not permanent and can be ground off with the right tools with very little effort. This is probably the best way to go. Where in Ca. are you located. I will be willing to weld these on for you at no cost if needed. I'm in Fresno/Clovis area.

Welding sounds like great idea but how much will something like that cost me??

Thank you IRONMAN but i am in sacramento and that is a good 4 1/2 hour drive to you.

Probably $30-40 or so, it'll only take a welder 10-15 minutes from start to finish. Call a 4x4 store, they normally have a mechanic in back that can weld.
