I paid around 1400, give or take some with shipping. As far as the steering damper goes, I left the old one in and was told by Dirk that as long as my old one worked I'd really have a hard time telling the difference.
ok now after i have acquired some knowledge about TJ lifts and mods it seemed to me that the PO had some work done on it and removed them and left few hints:
-Shifter boot has a piece cut from it, i read that after a lift some ppl had problems shifting into 2nd, 4rth and reverse, so they cut a piece from the boot to solve this issue.
-Front coil spacers, compensate a sagging issue from an aftermarket bumper maybe?
I checked for TC drop, BL or MML and found none.
I can't figure out if i have extended bumpstops.
so i decided to take pictures maybe you guys can know.
you do not have any bumpstop extensions, but you do have a ~2" coil spacer in the front thats is pretty bad shape, and somebody improperly installed a 1" spacer or something in the rear. I'd recommend removing both.
the guy that was going to sell me the coils sold them for 300$ for someone else! i even reserved new nitro shocks sport from the dealer!
I think i'm going to put 2" spacers in the back (coz it turned out i have 1" inch in the back) and i already have 2" spacers in the front, and install the new shocks. maybe later i'll get the coils, should i face vibrations from the 2" spacers in the back?
btw i have a hardtop. i know it's not that heavy but maybe a bit of sagging will help the drive-shaft angle.
Decent flex from the looks of it. I love my OME kit.
Where in Lebanon are you located? Beirut? There is some BEAUTIFUL scenery in that country. The age of some of the trees there goes back several thousand years! And the fruits available there!!! WOW!!! Cherries the size of apples!
