Hey guys, finally got the leds for this mod and did it today. Didn't take long at all and I am very pleased with how it turned out. The pics don't do it justice. Anyway, now I am moving on to the HVAC and I am pretty sure I know which bulbs to get. For the HVAC and switches I should buy a NEO 4 bulb, correct? When they ask me for the LED type, which should I choose? 3, 4 or 5 mm? I realize it's probably NEO X with the X being the size, but when you go to choose they give you the option for a size so I am confused. Also, for the on light for a switch, its a NEO 3, correct? Thanks for the help guys, hope these pics show up - although it's nothing you haven't already seen.

If you have the knob style hvac its, (3) - NEO4-B: 4mm NEO4-x Blue. If you have the slider control, I believe its a 74 type bulb.

The switches use the same bulb I'm guessing? And the on light for the switch uses a NEO 3 3mm?

2000. I was confused about the bulb that goes into the switches (fog lights/ rear wiper) as well as the indicator that those lights are switched on. I followed another guide and purchased the bulbs I think are correct. I will post back when I get them installed.

Go to sylvania.com and put ur vehic specs in and it will give u all ur bulbs to be sure. Mine was an '04, I put the entire install on YouTube and posted earlier in this thread. If u actually skip to the last 40 secs of the video I give the part numbers from superbrightled.

Gauge Cluster: 5ea part # 74-xHP3
LEDs for HVAC: 2ea part # 74-xHP3

From what I understand, the cluster bulbs are the same for the slider controls.

Finished the HVAC. Way easier than the instrument panel by far. Easy and very well worth it! I even did the lights in the footwells and was thinking about doing the dome light as well, but that's another story. Big thanks to that video posted a few pages ago, all of those lights fit perfectly which were listed at the end. Very helpful.

No prob.

No problem, I'm glad everything came out rockin'. I replaced my dome's with white, and I'm still not sold on them yet. I told myself that I wanted to keep it functional, and what's better than straight white LED, but I sometimes feel like I'm in some type of interrogation room...seriously...ha.

I'll probably just say screw it order a set of blue domes from superbright, the white freaks me out just a bit.

Could you post a link to the page where I can get the HVAC bulbs? I'm not having any success finding them on my own. Thanks!

Instrument Cluster and Gauge Backlights - Super Bright LEDs

You are looking for the NEO 4 bulbs for the switches and the HVAC. For the on/off indicator light for your switches (if you have any) you will look for a NEO 3. For specific part numbers, watch the end of the video on the first page of this thread. If it wasn't for that video, I would have been lost.

Has anyone done the UV black light, I really want to accent my black TJ with purple, but am not going for the trippy black light look... I can't imagine that behind the instrument panel it wouldn't look purple... anyone try this yet?

I'm not sure about black light backings, I'm not even sure where you would find that; but I know superbrightleds.com offers the color purple on all the bulbs you'll need to replace. As good as the blue turned out, I would imagine the purple would be pretty cool as well.

Doing my friends dash I mixed blue with those purple lights from V-Leds and while it does look cool, I thought the purple could have been a little brighter. It can make for some frustrating situations when passing under lights at night due to the lack of brightness. I'll see if I can try to get some pics of her setup and post them tomorrow to give you an idea. Just be warned, the color that is pictured isn't exactly the color that you will see.
