Intake manifold leak?

Hello all. I just purchased my first Jeep; a TJ from a guy I know. Needs a little work, but I'm pretty handy so I'm doing it myself. My question is this: I had a whistling sound under the hood, and the idle was elevated, so I was looking for vacuum leaks. I was running my hand around the throttle body, and the sound was changing. Turns out that if I push the intake manifold hard against the head, the sound pretty much stops, and the idle settles down. I was thinking I need a new intake gasket, but if I can push it tight to the head and it stops, maybe my bolts are just loose? I can't work on it till saturday, just wanted some feedback from y'all. Anybody ever had this? If I need a gasket can I remove the intake manifold without removing the exhaust manifold? Thanks in advance for any help, I think I'm going to like it here
