Interior lights

How do I get the interior lights to stay off with the doors off?

Pull the fuse behind the glove box, #4 I believe.

I did a minor mod the other day to mine.
I left the fuse in, but undid the screws that hold the fuse panel in and flipped it around to get at the black wire on the ground side of the #4 fuse. I cut this and soldered in a couple extension wires and a little switch. I installed the switch on the left side of the glove box when you open it in a hole that was already there.
Now it's real simple... open the glove box, flick the switch, and pop the doors off

Not quite as elegant as the above poster, but this works for me.

I just pushed in the switch, drilled a hole and insert the pin. Word of caution, this will not remind you that your headlights are on when you shut off your engine.
