sorry, not sure this is worthy of a new topic, but i am looking at windsheild mounting brackets for day / fog lights... and ~$40 bucks, plus the stone gaurds are sold individually for $13!!! plus shipping, really individually? thats like selling running shoes individually?
so if i have 4 lights i want to put up we are talking well over $100 just for the cheap arse hardware?
Im not sure where you plan on mounting these...light bar above the windshield or on the windshield via brackets. I am assuming on a light bar since I havent seen windshield brackets to mount more than one light per side. If you mount them on a lightbar...what purpose are stone guards gonna serve you other than looks?
As far as individually...that makes more sense to me. What if somebody only plans on buying 3 lights...why would they want 4 guards? Or what if someone is replacing one guard and/or light because it broke...why would they want to pay for two guards (unless they want to have a back up).
I also agree with sparky...fog lights do not belong up high.

All your paying for is the 30$ for the windshield light mount http://www.quadratec.com/products/12110_23.htm and if you wanna buy 4 stone guard covers i have 4 6" diameter black and white kc ones never used i can sell you if you want and problem solved
-I can vote, have a gun, serve in the military, drive a car, and cant get a beer .... go figure
I dont disagree that pairs are probably more common...but as an example...
and here are a few options less than 40 dollars. Message "Quadratec" on the forum and he can get you a good deal on shipping if you are interested in any of these...Or you can search around for other prices.
with shipping its still almost $40, just the price you gotta pay i guess. seems like a $9.99 part, but whatever.
just considering the part is $30 and they want $7, thats almost 25% on shipping...
The trick is to buy more. Shipping costs go up slower than merchandise costs. Look at the rates, first $100 costs $7 to ship, $100 to $200 is $12. (just an example, I did not chaeck anybody's rates. So see if there are any other goodies you need/want. Buy them now, it spreads the shipping cost around.
$7 to ship is really, actual cost. All shipping companies have a bottom rate even if you are shipping one pound. It costs to make the pickup, handle paperwork, make the delivery.
