I would say it's a little high, though I haven't checked KBB. I just bought an 02 TJ, 5spd, 4.0L, hardtop, with 85k for $9,880. Yours is 4 years newer, but has higher mileage. Have you checked cars.com or ebay motors for comparable Jeeps? I would check them out and price mine accordingly.

Just looked up the blue book value, in excellent condition (nearly perfect), you should expect around $14,770 or so. Check it out.

Yes I did and I priced mine about $1000 more then KBB retail and I do agree on the mileage. I figure I will start high but of course I will be offered less I'm sure.

I'm looking for a Wrangler and from what I've seen it does seem high.. granted I don't know these vehicles, only what I'm seeing on websites right now. That price seems to be Rubicon territory.

Granted, it is a gorgeous looking Jeep, looks brand new! I don't think it matters if you start high or low, whenever you post on craigslist expect to be offered a big screen tv and a couple of ipods, plus some "cash on his end". Good luck though!

I just checked around on cars.com and I am way too high with that kind of mileage....I probably will have to ask about $16,000.....Anyone ever use cars.com??? I tried autotrader for another vehicle and didn't have much success.

I just bought my 2006 unlimited rubicon for $16k with 62k miles. Yours might be a tad high but who knows. Throw it out there and see if you get any nibbles. good luck!

I found my Jeep on Cars.com... it was at a dealership, though. No experience selling on the site, but I would imagine it would be a better place to sell a car than on Craigslist.

Lemme' guess, you really want a TJ.

I have no idea what the newer ones go for. Your best bets are to check ebay motors completed sales in your neck o' the woods, local classifieds and craigs. Jeep prices fluctuate pretty wildly (so do pickups and any 4x4 vehicles), regionally. I think KBB asks for your zip code, to adjust pricing, but perhaps I'm thinking of something else.

Good luck.

Sounds kind of high. I have seen some 07 JK's with 80-100k on them for about that price. I think closer to $14k would be realistic. If yours was a Rubicon then maybe you could get $16K.

I lowered my asking price to 15K and have and was offered 13K. The Jeep is in excellent condition but does have 97,000 miles on it. Thought??
