Is my Jeep lifted? Wheel questions also...

Got a few quick questions for you guys and yes I did search... First and foremost I know this might be stupid but can anyone tell if this is stock height or if it is lifted? It has red shocks which is what originally made me think it might be aftermarket although I know next to nothing about jeeps.

Next question i've been searching for the last two days and can't find a definitive answer. The wheels are pretty much bald so looking to get new ones. I'm going to get the Ultra 164's and the Duratracs. I spoke to someone at tirerack and they recommended 15x7 and 235/75/15. They said thats what they recommend for not rubbing but to me that might be too conservative looking... I'd love to do 31x10.5x15 but am worried about rubbing. This is a family car and my sister will be driving it the majority of the time. No plans on lifting it so it will stay on stock suspension. Anyone running same setup wheels (15x8? and 31x10.5x15) on stock suspension and has no rubbing issues at all? Thanks in advance for the help and sorry if these are all noob questions. Pics of suspension and whatnot below. Stock wheels are 30x9.5

Let me know if you guys want me to take any measurements or anymore pics. My mom also said the top hit one of those bars at the mall that have clearance although that might be from the roof rack that's on there...

Looks like stock, the stock shocks were replaced though with the red ones. For the roof rack to hit those bars must be really low haha

Shit really? I was hoping it was lifted. The gap between the rear wheel and fender is huge though. Any places I can measure to make sure 100% that it's stock or lifted?

Measure from the bottom of compressed spring to the top of the spring
Stock should be 12in front and 8 rear I believe

Just measured and got right around 12 front and 8 rear so bad news is I guess i'm stock... So now onto the next question. Should I be fine running the 15x8 Ultra's with 31x10.5 duratracs or is there a chance I might rub? I really want no chance of rubbing but still nice and aggressive looking

just the roof rack being too tall. 15x8 will be fine also if it rubs just put a washer in the steering stops it's really no big deal. Further more, if you pick a smaller backspacing your tires will stick out more thus no rubbing. Stock suspension, 31's will be fine on the road. Turning is your only issue and if it even does rub on a really really sharp turn it's not going to matter much. Again just look up how to put a washer in the steering stop and it will keep you from rubbing on sharp turns.

stock suspension isn't really bad news, the previous owner probably would've screwed it up and gave you a bad ride. Better to just do it yourself.

it all depends, I have an after market bumper and the winch when I flex fully the 30x9.5 actually rubs. granted it's so little nothing to worry about but rubs all the same lol

First and foremost, thank you everyone for your help! Really do appreciate it.

So I've thought about doing a lift but don't think I ever will. This is really a family car with my sister being the primary driver. Once a year we take it up to Nantucket and we'll take it on the beach a few times. Other than that it will only really see snow and normal road conditions.

Ok so I think i'm definitely going to go with the 31's and worst case I will just add a washer to the steering stop like you guys mentioned. So now only question left before ordering is would 15x8 or 15x7 work better?

Edit: Nevermind looks like sadly we're going with the 235/75/15... If it was my car I would have happily gotten the 31's and either just dealt with rubbing or did a spacer. The rest of the family driving the car though said they don't even want a 1% chance of rubbing at all so I guess I have to go with these. Hopefully they won't look too conservative

Keep in mind that shocks don't lift a vehicle. Either the springs need to be replaced or spacers would be added.

31s are "ok" on a stock suspension. But they look a little funny to me. As to a lift, don't be too afraid. A 2" lift is still very drivable and would look great with 31s
