Is this a decent upgrade

So Im going with an 8.8 but a buddy of mine insists this non c clip kit is going to be just as good.Whats everyones thoughts?

Yeah,I just think hes trying to save money.He insists the weak parts of the d35 will be replaced in this kit.Or a ARB locker with upgraded shafts.
