is this a good deal i should jump on?

Hey ya'll I found a 6 inch long arm kit from Fabtech. The guy wants $850. It is a complete kit but used. He said I would need 2 new rear shocks and the tabs to weld on the axle. He linked and stretched his ride, that's the reason for the sale. What do ya'll think? Should jump on it? I was orginally only planning on a 4 in LA kit. But not above changing plans for a good deal. Could I just replace the springs for 4 inch ones? Oh yeah I have a 2003 TJ, 5 spd, 4 cyl.4:10 gears for now. This is not a daily driver but I do drive on the road. Well thanks for all the help in advance.

Hardy

If it's in good shape, jump on it. I love my FT 6" long arm!

It's not the easiest lift to install but it is very capable and easy to maintain.

Just get a couple of shocks (>$300) and go for it.

If you have any specific questions about this lift, let me know. Oh, and I also posted in the TJ lift review sticky too.

Anytime you can get a long arm kit in decent shape for under a grand, I would jump on it.

Ok guys, after talking to a few people about this lift. I'm gona pass on it. I know its a great deal, but just not in the plans right now. If anyone else wants it, check out craigslist. Nashville, then auto parts. Search jeep and you should find it. Good luck and happy wheelin! Thanks to everyone for their help.

I think that was a very good decision.
