$2k is the down payment, it doesn't list the price. I would check on the engine; they list it as a 6 cyl but also say it's a SE which usually has the 4 cyl engine.
This kind of dealer usually charges high prices and crazy high interest rates to cover the risk of loaning money to people with bad credit. Unless you can talk him down to blue book price and finance it somewhere else I would stay away from them.

Wouldn't even consider that one or any other vehicles from them.

It says it a finance only vehicle. I wouldn't deal with a place like that at all.

It says Atlanta, so I assume you're in or near Atlanta? Check "By Owner Only" Craigslist. There's tons of great jeeps, both stock or built. Great deals too.

I actually looked at a TJ there once and it was a major POS and it was nothing that they said it was. Craigslist and Auto Trader are great options

The Jeep Store in Cartersville has quite a few in stock. A friend of mine just bought one from them and got a good deal.

The jeep store in cartersville is way too overpriced! Try elite motors in cartersville, nice jeeps and fair prices.

I agree Elite Motors is better, but they are still way overpriced IMO. I think private sales are his best luck.

yes private sales are always the best way to go. But if you have to finance def do not use the jeep store.

For the Atlanta folks, I'll throw Marietta Dodge under the bus one more time for shady dealings. Ordered a brand new Dakota from them over 10 years ago, we "settled" on the price, I put deposit down, and waited for it to be built. When it arrived, I was slapped with a "regional marketing fee" that was slightly less than the $500 deposit I was already into the truck for. That was my first new car dealership experience. Lesson learned, only deal in the "out the door price". And screw Marietta Dodge.

I would call them, and verify that it is $2000 for the vehicle. I seriously doubt that it is.
It sounds like they want $2000 for the down payment. Jeeps are normally selling for about $8000 in that year range. Just from the outside appearance, I seriously doubt it is $2000, unless something is really wrong with it.

It also says selling price is $2000. The top of the ad also says $2000. No where does it say the selling price is anything but $2000. It's kind of misleading. I think the OP was mislead too. This is why I suggested that he called for clarification. Personally, I think this ad was made to intentionally mislead people. I would probably stay away, based on that, but it doesn't hurt to call.
