Is this a good soft top?

Looking to buy a new soft top for my 97 sahara and I found this one on ebay. This is my first jeep and I just got it last week so im new to the whole process and dont know if its necessary to go with a best top or not. Anyone bought a top like this or know anything about the quality?

Assuming all is true and that it comes with hardware seems like a real good price-check the big Q to get an idea of what that top usually costs. Bestop is the OEM for Jeep.

Hardware is not included but it says all you need if the factory hardware so i already have that with the soft top that is on now

Should be good than-I haven't done it-but "heard" upper door skins a real PIA-make sure it is nice and warm when you do the install.

Good Luck!!

Mft is not listed. I would stick with a known name because you might get a top thats of poor quality and have to go buy a new one really soon anyway. My grandpappy always used to say, buy quality once and you wont have to buy it again.

I think you should buy a BESTOP soft top. they are more expensive but they're the best you can get.

If $ is an issue, look at the Rampage bowless tops. They are much less expensive than a factory replacement top.

ask the seller who the mfg is. if it's an unknown mfg or the seller won't tell you, don't look back, just walk away.

you made the right choice, it sucks when you buy cheap and have to buy again cause you bought junk the first time

Looks to be like the smitty built top I bought from eBay but I'm not 100 percent. I like myn fits snug and zipps good. Plus cheap enough where If it gets cut I can replace it without breaking the bank. The only complaint is the end of the zippers jingle to much lol

FWIW, I've been quite satisfied with my later version smittybilt top... I know its not considered the best but it seems surprisingly well made. I had my jeep at the bodyshop yesterday and the owner actually said it looked like a really nice top to him.

Soft Top

I also recommend the Rampage Frameless Soft Top. I use it year round here in Denver. No problems.

I just picked up a Bestop soft top and installed it yesterday, got it off of Amazon, love that it has the sun-rider feature, and the install was pretty simple.
