Yes plus running up 450 miles up to Norfolk and 450 back when my job requires it. Some dirt trails but nothing serious. My wife drives her 2007 JK Unlimited everyday as well. Rarely off road for that one.
It is my DD but I don't offroad it...nor do I intend to. However, I am going to buy a 2nd jeep for that very purpose! Selling the truck now and then I'll be looking for another tj soon...
I am just finishing upgrading tires and lift, so I have been paranoid about hitting the trails until the work was done. And still a little worried about going on to the trails w/o a winch...
Just got my 00 TJ a little over a month ago and it's my DD.
I've taken it on trails twice, the first time it didn't get so muddy, but the second time it was covered.
I don't enjoy having to clean it. lol
Another DD here. I wheel some pretty difficult stuff and always manage to drive it home the same day. No mud for me...but show me some rocks and I'm all for it.
Thats the beauty of it,in fact I think we all like to wait about a week after wheeling before cleaning of the dirt wearing it proudly around town like a badge of honor.Others can only look on with envy never being able to experience what you
just have, the sights you have seen and the people you met along the way.Only in a jeep :thumb:
My 06 rubi is my dd, about 33,000 miles a year! It never gets abused off road (it is still my dd) but it see's plenty of light trail time, especially during hunting season. I take it on the trails on the weekend, then drive it to work on monday, cant do that with most vehicles!
Yes, and yes but only a little bit (such a PITA to clean I'm just as apt to tiptoe past a mud hole add i am to charge through it), sees plenty of use as a beach buggy and trail rider on weekends though.
my rubicon has been a great dail driver.havnt really wheeled it much.ive always had a built toyota kickin around for trail use.just sold the yota and now i am thinking about selling the rubi to fund the next project..after owning it for 4 years ive almost lost intrest in toyotas..wait..did i just say that????
Yup. DD and for off road. What else would I drive if I have a TJ? My wife's minivan, I think not. LOL
