Issue starting

I have a 2006 Rubicon. I stopped to pick up something to eat and had issues starting it. All the electronics came on, all gauges looked okay but it wouldn't crank. So I turned the key off and tried again. Nothing. So then I turned the key off and tried starting it a third time and it started. So I got home and parked and turned off the ignition. I then immediately tried starting again. Nothing. Then tried again and it worked. I came inside for about 30 minutes and then decided to go check everything out under the hood. Everything looks normal. I don't see any loose wiring. Battery terminals are okay and I have a pretty new battery. I tried starting it again three times in a row and had no issues. Any ideas on what's going on? Is that a sign of a starter going bad? Or something else?

No clicking sounds at all. Just dead silence minus the radio that comes on.

not sure if you tried.. but did you follow the power to the starter, and make sure the connections to it ( down on the starter ) are tight? seems like the starter has a loose connection to me
