its been a while but im back!

hey guys, seems like forever since ive been on here! but here i am! have done all kindsa stuff to the jeep, i'll see if i can still remember how to post pics. first and foremost just put in a new engine, just today matter of fact. the old engine aquired a pretty serious sounding rod knock. the chunks of piston skirt i found in the oil was pretty amusing. stayed with the stock 4 cyl. had to get somethin that would just slip in there and keep me goin back and forth to work, a v8 will come when its payed for. installed flush mounted led taillights along with the liscense plate relocator and 3rd brake light. tore down my garage with what else...my jeep ( that was fun!) and now tommorow they are coming out to build the new one. couldnt go as big as what i wanted with the expense of the new engine but im gettin a 22x22 it'l work for now i suppose. well heres some pics, and i'll try to be around a little more! hope all is good with everyone!

If you would have lit that bag of charcoal in the first garage pic, there would have been less to load in the dumpster.

New garage going in? Or do you have to start cracking slab next (I like saying "cracking slab", it's fun).

Hey, how bad is it to remove the license plate when you gotta pull of the spare? That looks nice!

hahaha yea i know, i wanted to burn that thing so bad, but given the fact that it was only a foot and a half away from the house didnt make me wanna do it anymore lol. nope i got my fair share of crackin slab a couple weekends ago. thats the new slab they put in, and havin a pre fabed garage put up tommorow or tuesday got a sweet deal on it! that liscense plate is a piece of cake! all it is is a tiny reciever type thing. just has two peices of square tubing that fit into one another with a jamb nut and i have a padlock behind there so nobody can take it. the wiring is on a quick disconnect

You could have borrowed a pumper from the station and kept the house hosed down or you could have drug the whole thing further over into that lot with the Jeep before lighting it.

Yeah that is one good thing about the smaller departments. But really you have to figure in the liablities also.We very seldom use our trucks for personal matters but it does happen from time to time.We have used them to pump out swimming pools before.Oh well it was a thought It does make less to clean up but in the long run it makes it alot more of a dirty job.

lol yeah it woulda been an awesome fire thats for sure! i heard of a guy from some department around my area that was kicked off because he used the tanker to fill his swimming pool. it woulda been okay but his neighbor came out askin if he could do the same for him and when he said no he called to city about it and raised all kinds of hell
