Jeep Bogs

I have a 1999 Wrangler 4 cyl., and on occasion when i let it sit and rev for about 5 mins it starts to bog down like its going to just shut off. It never shuts off but it doesnt sound to good. Also when im in 1st gear and i am pressing on the gas it doesnt feel like fuel is going thru the lines, and the jeep doesnt accelerate. Anyone else have this problem?
Also i do use 89 gas in it, but it doesnt seem to help anymore then 87.

I had something similar to what you had... check the upstream O2 sensor. Tried fuel system cleaners and higher octane as well, there was no check engine light. It happened to me for 5-10 mins after starting. I unplugged the sensor and it ran like new, so I figured that was the culprit.
