Jeep Drifts Left When I Brake

I just put on new hawk padsin the front along with rototech slotted rotors....calipers are still stock. now when i brake my jeep drifts to the left...which means either the left brake is squeezing too tightly or the right brake is squeezing tightly enough....what do you think the best method is for fixing this with the least hassle? im thinking i just have to remount the calipers...maybe one moved out of place a little while i was putting something back on...braking was fine and straight before i did the install

The force on each pad is the same because they are in the same hydraulic loop. It might be the alignment, or maybe one pad is stickier than the rest. Have to done the pad bedding procedure?

There is a special grease for the bolts/pins the calipers "float" on.
Maybe when you take back apart you lube those up real good. Just an idea. Good luck.

i just had this problem and replaced both calipers. im pretty sure that the stock calipers come with a high strength plastic piston that warps over time due to heat stress. if i pushed on the breaks the right side would lock up. there wasnt much of a warning that there was a problem. one day its fine and the next the right brake is locking up.

tire pressure exactly the same in each front tire ?

Same thing happen to me a couple months ago when I changed my pads and rotors. I took then back off, cleaned everything, re-bled the lines, still pulled to the left when I applied the brakes. So I replaced the right caliper with a new one, bled it, and it fixed the problem. They worked fine after that.
Only thing I can think I did was I must of damaged the piston when I compressed it back in with the C-clamp.

Check you caliper....maybe locked up

You can lock it..even put a different t/c in it..but its still not a RUBICON!
