well after after almost 4 years of wheeling 15 to 20 times a year. the jeep finally needed some replacement parts. After going to el mirage and trying to chase a prerunner around. my front wheel bearing things needed replacement. I wasnt sure if my 33s where exagerating my "play" in the bearings, so i just bought one.
especially since the new Timken setup is 140bucks a pop.

took me about 30 to 45 minutes to replace 1. not a hard job but not easy because of the main nut thats a bitch to get off. So now all the play is gone on the driver side. i now get to order another for the passenger side.

note to self, no more woops section in the jeep. :punk:

if anyone has any questions on how its done i can do a write up or help explain the process.

Hey Rawk, Next time you should try 4Wheelers Supply here in Phoenix. They usually run TJ Unit Bearings crazy cheap. Way less than what you paid including the shipping.

It's not a hard job at all, but the bigger tires we run have a tendency to wear them out quicker. I've been thru about 3 or 4 sets in mine.

Easier if you just call them and talk to a guy named Cole. They'll ship whatever you need right out to you. They have an 800 # also for out of towners.
