I live in Philadelphia and just got my Jeep vandalized - the rear quarter window (on the drive side of the Jeep) was ripped. Devastated. It would be great if I can get some inputs/feedbacks from yous guys. I have a 2005 Jeep Wrangler.

- Recommendation for place to buy the replacement for the side window.
- I'm thinking to replace it with hard top - just from safety perspective. The incident was the 3rd time for in the past 2 years. But only this last one that the person vandalized my Jeep.
I read some threads here that Quadretec, Rallytops might be good places to find them. Thoughts?
- Anyone know a good Repair Shop in PA?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the info, guys. I will check on ebay and Craiglist.
Lynn: I just need to replace 1 side of the rear window.
UmbrellaCorp: exactly! the first 2 incidents, they unzip the window. Only the last one didn't.

Do you know any good shop in PA? I may need help to install the hard top.

You don't do a lot of wrenching on your Jeep Im thinking. Just a guess mind you. No matter its not for everyone. Like the guys above said you don't need a shop to put your new hard top on (if u buy one that is) Its just a few bolts that aren't very hard to get to. As far as replacing your zippered window you can get them from most any 4x4/Jeep shop or on craigslist and ebay. just as the others said. Sorry your Jeep got vandalized. Probably some idiot whos never had a job and doesn't know what its like to earn something of his own. Seems like very few working folks actually vandilise junk for the hell of it.
Might want to put up a few web cameras outside in hidden spots. Might can catch the punks next time.

hey, I used to live in philly.

I would leave my doors unlocked at night just so if someone was trying to get in they could open the door and not cut the top. maybe try that from now on and add a security box so you can lock up whatever (ez pass/multitool/flashlights) before you park it for the night.

Sorry :( I had that bar that goes on the bottom of the rear window stolen. no idea what they wanted that for

I sent you a PM. I'm in Philly and have this top coming off my 2003 TJ. Maybe we can work something out?

Thanks for the input, guys. Yes, other than taking my soft top down, I dont do a lot of wrenching on my Jeep. Since I live in Centre City Philly, I park my car in a garage where only in certain areas that they have security camera. And few people told me that from now on, I just leave my doors unlocked.

Locks are for honest people......if a thief wants in your house, car, boat, they don't matter. I rarely take my keys out of the ignition....of course we do live in a pretty rural area. Then I just realized I locked my center console and my glove box with doors off and top off when we went into Northampton, Ma for the day. I don't usually take precautionary steps.....then when I go to the city with the lowest per capita crime in the USA......I lock my things up.........hmmmmmmm:tomatoes:
