jeep shake

Howdy everybody, got myself a 99 wrangler, manual, 2.5, 2inch body spacer (I think) rolling with 31's, 142k miles a few years back, rides great! But when I drive at exactly 43 miles in 4th or 5th gear at about 2250 rpms(4th gear) my jeep tends to shake, not agressively but its there and feels like a smooth shaking (I'm kind of digging it!!!lol) its enough to get a quarter on the dash to start shaking with it, but as soon as I go 44 mph or 42 its gone!! Happens everytime for about month and a half now, anybody know what's the beef with it??

95% of the time, a speed sensitive shake, ESPECIALLY one that happens at the same speed in two different gears, is an unbalanced tire. If you have old/weak shocks, an unbalanced tire may be more prominent. Easy solution it just to take it in to have the wheels/tires balanced. If you want to try to confirm it first, have someone drive next to you at the magic speed and look closely to see if it looks like one of your wheels is trying to "bounce" on the road.

Oh wow thank you so much guys!! I'll definetly get that balanced asap, also one more thing, this used to happen a lot but not anymorenow, first off let me say I have a tranny and transfer case leak, itsnot that bad, always give it the extra oil every other week, that being said about a month ago when the JEEP was idling under the drivers seat and or passenger seat it started to rumble like pretty bad, it idled at under 1000 rpm at bout 750 I would say, it does it occasionally in the first 5 minutes of driving, it happens right when u go into neutral on a stop, as soon as I press the gas , the rumble goes away, its very weird and hard to describe, it has its days when it does it but then has its days when it doesn't. I did the 2 by 4 check and listened to the engine, tranny and transfer case, all sounded ok but the skid plate was the thing rumbling I think, maybe all I need is some rubber?? Why would it be rumbling that bad? Thanks again folks!!
