First of all it's rude to call anyone that, and immature, but considering the level the person must be at, I would say "I know you are but what am I?" Followed by a series of nah nah boo boos. Childish yes, but it would be suitable for a jerk that would stoop to that level.

Wow... more than a little stunned at some comments here (and opening myself up to god knows what sort of attacks). Guess I traded in my snob card with my TJ cause I had a baby? I admit, the shorter wheel base climbs like a billy goat on speed, but hauling my 30 lb son out of the back seat was a b*tch...
Maybe I still want the freedom to take him camping and fishing with the only convertible 4WD on the market? Doesn't make me a sellout, just doing what I gotta do.

Anyways, I wave all the time and get shot down... maybe its the 4 door (from the sound of it, I don't have a real Jeep anymore)? I may be dense, but I'm gonna keep on waiving and enjoying my non-Jeep JK. And if I don't happen to waive, I may be distracted. You never know the sort of day someone is having. Thanks for letting me vent.

People with JK's are fine. From what you said you sound like a respectable Jeeper its just rivalry between the Jeep community. Its like the beef with the Army and Marine corp. Yeah they fight and bicker some times, but they fight and die for each other given the chance.

I tip my hat to you ma'am, only one butchered English word can possibly describe the epicness of your posts, and that word is "pwnd!"

what you've all just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award none of you any points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I have taken note of "the wave" this last couple of weeks and it's funny I should happen across this thread today and it was funny too....until towards the end.

Just this morning I was driving home and thought to myself that it's usually the middle aged women and younger folks that usually wave. I see one quite often in an older, red TJ and she's big on waving. Nice looking brunette, kind of that Mary Tyler Moore look. Seems guys my age (48) are a hit and a miss.

Holy crap, maybe I'm not even middle aged anymore? Geez, just thought of that. I hope I'm still middle aged! I'm definitely quitting smoking.....

I agree!

Pretty weird, I just posted about being old and was thinking back on my first Jeep. It was a 1978 CJ5 and I bought it slightly used in high school (1980). What's weird is that I had bought it at Reedman's Chevrolet in non other than Langhorne, PA. Then you made a post! Whoa, definitely buying a Powerball tomorrow!

It wasn't directed only at you, but the problem is your focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. So maybe you could use the few brain cells you have and take advantage of the knowledge I have given you now. Good luck

Awwww look, I found your most special moment on video:

Saw the apology after I posted this, and I accept. Growing up is hard, offering an apology as a teen/young man can be hard. Good for you for being able to step back.

God I enjoyed reading this thread.

Anyway, I wave when I like.

I have 3 vechicles that all require waves. Harley, Mini Cooper and my Jeep, My left arm started to get bigger than my right from waving all the time so I quit for the most part.

My wife was aware of the Jeep wave but she started to think she had loads of friends because no matter if she was in my Jeep, her MINI, or on her HD she had people waving at ther....lol

Just because u get attacked doesnt mean u take it out on the women. Just because you get rejected is no reason to stalk. With the attitude u have..it sounds like you should get use to it.

Man you sure got hardcore since you posted your thread about bending the oil can protector! That was like a whole 2 weeks ago! Now you posted this super hardcore thread about waving. When you actually make a thread something on something interesting then maybe I will take you seriously. No one want's to wave to you so get over it. Why would you follow someone to tell them about the wave? That's the creepiest thing I've ever heard, you really need to calm down with the stupid Jeep wave. Also quit hating on JK's, people who do are so ignorant, and if you think all JK's are mallcrawlers then you have obviously never been on the trails!

Did I mention that the Jeep wave is the stupidest thing that people get all worked up about?
