Smile Jeepin' in snow!

I got my Jeep back in October 2012 and can not wait for snow to drive my TJ through. Any snow! So far this weather is a bust. Soooo, post some pics Jeepin' in snow. It will make me feel better that I am driving in rain and not snow.

These are from a New Year's Day run near Jenny Creek, Gilpin County, CO. We had a blast:

And this was my first trail run with a home-brew OBA, which performed awesome. Aired up my rig, and 3 others, in record time.

Looks fun, supposedly this weather is bringing snow to VA, but my money is on "I'll be driving home on ice tonight, not snow".

btw is that a little wrangler pulling somebody's fancy raptor? I thought those things were supposed to be baja ready, apparently not so great in the snow.

It was a JKU, but yes, pulling a Raptor. That was the 2nd snow run I did with the Raptor and it did pretty well both times. Several of us got stuck in that spot (myself included). We were fine on the way in, but on the way out we followed some buggies that dug it up.

Funny how it's always the jeep that comes to the rescue. We used to do a lot of mudding back in college, I drove a 2wd explorer at the time and somehow that POS managed to pull some bigger 4x4 trucks out. It was the only thing light enough to get through the mudhole to the solid ground on the other side.

anyways one day I got stuck trying to get back to my buddies truck, and guess what ended up pulling both of us out, a wrangler with a tow strap.

Why canoe if there is snow everywhere?

Trapping beaver and muskrat. It is so much easier to check traps from canoe the chest waiders walking the creek up to your waist.

There is about a 15 foot bank that I unload the canoe at the top of load all my gear in it and slide right down to the water. It works pretty well and kinda fun lol
