The video is on the website listed cis.org, but they call the vehicle a "Jeep" but its only a yamaha rhino or whatever those are, not a real Jeep

it shows it at 6:39

Thanks for keeping an eye out for my Jeep Alstjruby03, too bad that wasn't it. A guy who knows my Jeep very well told he saw it in Mexico heading north on I-5 as he was heading south. His description was pretty vivid so I believe him, plus it goes along with the police, insurance, etc. all saying it's likely in Mexico.

And people wonder why AZ passed the SB1070 law. They do not realize we are in war here.

From my understanding, AZ is not really standing up to the feds as much as they are actually enforcing a FEDERAL immigration law. Illegal immagration is just that, illegal.

It was stolen in March from the front of my office here in San Diego. My receptionist sits only 8' away from where it was parked, it was directly in front of our front door. I don't know how they got it, they either jimmied the ignition lock or loaded it onto a flatbed truck.

Jerry,

I dont post too much on here but i couldn't help but see this thread and the ones a few months back about your rig being stolen. I really feel for ya. I had a few items stoeln from my jeep last summer but not the entire jeep!- i cant imagine how that must have felt and once again i really feel for ya.
Just a couple thoughts-
If you have a decent amount of reason to believe its down in Mexico and its been spotted as a few people say it has, it may be worth your time to hire a private eye or someone like that to try and find it down there. I'd also give the description to the police/border patrol in the area- I'm sure thats already been done since it was stolen.

I really hope you you get it back- if you look hard enough I think you have decent odds

Thanks Lucky but AAA owns it now, they paid me for its loss. I would just like to get some of the misc. stuff I had stored in the Jeep, much of the items I had in its multiple locked storage/security boxes are irreplaceable. Like my USAF aircrew survival knife I had while in Vietnam.

The hubbub about the Arizona Law is unreasonable. All it says is if an officer sees something that looks like a crime has been committed, he can investigate. Even if it is a Federal crime.

I'd hate to think a cop would stop someone for a ticket and see my daughter bound, gagged, bloody, and obviously kidnapped in the back seat and he'd ignore it because kidnapping is a Federal Crime. "Not my job Mon."

I guess since Bank Robbery is a Federal Crime that makes it OK too?

Hasn't Obama's Green Card expired yet?

I wonder how they got Jerry's Jeep across the border?

I think he married an American citizen, so we are stuck with his sorry arse (obama that is).

I have a feeling they got Jerry's Jeep got across the border in an offroad fashion.

this thread is BS, OP should be ashamed. reopening wounds.

Anyone have a USAF aircrew survival knife from Vietnam to give Jerry? I feel bad for him now.

Guys, you're being pretty frigging hard on a guy who only thought he was being helpful to me. I appreciated him just even thinking about helping me with my stolen Jeep.

Not sure if I misread this, but I never stated that local PD should not be enforcing federal laws. What I was saying is that in AZ, they are simply enforcing an existing law that happens to be at the federal level. And as for AZ profiling against non citizens by asking for ID when stopping someone, that is not true. Anytime I have been stopped for anything at all, they ask for license, registration and proof is insurance. They want to know who they are dealing with and if I have done anything wrong in the past.

OK, enough of my hijack, have a good day everyone.

Jeff

Well I dont wanna be too hard on him and make him think we're all being jerks or something.

BUT, the title of thread is extremely misleading. The title blatantly says "Jerry I found your jeep"...UM, no..you didnt, it wasnt even a jeep in the video...its a friggin yamaha utility vehicle.
IMO he wasnt looking out for you, he was making a joke. I wouldnt be so quick to praise his actions.

Jerry, this guy wasn't trying to be helpful to you... he new it wasn't a Jeep in the original post ... and the only reason I think its a bad move on his part is because if I were you (like I said earlier) if my jeep was stolen and someone posted something like this, I'd be ticked. off.

Hurdler - my comment wasn't directed at you at all or what you said. It was commenting on all the people that are against the police doing their job.

He He - there's a nudist camp right on the border - the illegals sneak in and hide there sometimes. It's a deterrent - after seeing they go home. They tell their friends and family "forget it - those Americans are nuts, they don't wear clothes!"

One of the guys in our club had his Jeep stolen awhile back.
He just posted this last night:
======================================
Some of you may have read the thread about my Jeep getting stolen. Well, after a month of no jeep, I finally bought a new one. Last night, I received a message on facebook from a newly created account The account is fake, obviously, but here is what was stated:

Quote: Tabbi Kikki July 15 at 9:33pm Report
Hey hun you the guy with the red jeep on campus right? First off let me tell you how very sorry i am about having to take it. the few times i've meet you you seemed like a really sweet guy and i'm sorry. I had to get away from my crazy husband and your jeep was the closes thing and you left your key inside. its sitting next to sears parking lot in henderson that was the closest i could get to columbia. it was ony driving on the highway to memphis and then to henderson and never off the road. I did clean it up for you that was the least i could do. I know sorry doesn't make up for what i've done but I am trully sorry sweety! I put the key in the back inside the toilet paper you left in the back. nothing was taken out or off of it, it is exactly as you left it.

Called my parents just to let them know, and then went to Public Safety(UT Martin PD). They called Henderson PD and sure enough, there was my Jeep! The Jeep is still in Henderson, and will be transported to Martin on Monday. I called insurance, and they said I could get all my personal items out of the Jeep. I asked them about aftermarket accessories, and they said I could take the stuff I didn't get paid for(Bluetooth CB Radio, CB Antenna, PA System, Synthetic Winch Line, and some other misc. items). They didn't give me any money for my Sailcloth Softop, so I'm going to switch that out with my current one.

What do you guys make of this? lol
========================================

Sometimes they DO get recovered, but this was one strange happening to say the least!
