Jet Power Module?

I just bought a 2004 Wrangler with a four cylinder motor. I am considering buying a jet Power Module and I am wonder if anyone has had one and what do they think.

I have an 03 4.0 and I had a jet power chip given to me. I could not tell one bit of difference when I put it on. I would think it would help out but I didn't see that it did anything at all for me.

we installed one in my sisters ZJ. The guy gave it to us after we bought it because he was going to install it himself. To tell ya the truth, I think it hurt her gas mileage quite a bit. The extra power wasn't even noticeable. And for a 4cyl motor, it might make a difference, but I still wouldn't do it.

I got one off ebay for $30 and put it in my 4 cyl. I noticed some power/acceleration gains, and possibly some better mpg. It was worth the $30 for me. Heres the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...138846158&rd=1 There are many different opinions on whether chips work or not, and if yes, the benefits are also disputed. I recommend buying a cheap generic one like this to find out for yourself. Hope this helps.

I realize that, but from those I know that have them, this is a much more reasonable price for unconfirmed/ not guaranteed results. Worked out good for me
