Jk soccer moms

Does anyone else get p***ed off when you wave at a Jk and get a look at the driver and notice it's a soccer mom and she gives you this off look like wtf are you waving at? I give up waving to JKs it's annoying I get played all the time it's rare if there is a real jeeper driving it! Ugh

I'll summarize how this thread will go TS.

"They keep jeep in business"

"Let them do their own thing"

"I hate them too"
Much the way of the recently deceased "4 doors" thread.

Just IMO, there's no wrong way to drive a jeep.

I had a 4 door JK with a soccer mom waving at me first. And man was she hot too. Just depends on if the other person gets it or not. I have had TJ's with guys driving not wave too. Oh well.

Yep, I wave at all Jeeps...some get it, some don't. It does feel good when they wave back though. It's the only vehicle I've driven where we have this kinda thing. Honestly, I was getting waved at for a couple of days right after I bought the Jeep, and it wasn't until my buddy's girlfriend told me about "the wave" that I figured it out. Drive by me, I'll wave at ya.

bad 'wrangler wave' week end here in northern Il. probably waved at 20 jeeps and got 1 back. did get a JK wave(he initated it) from a guy in a suit/tie comming home fri. i do get them now and then. was surprized though-the town we grocery shop is full of em(TJ's-well all kinds really but TJ's stand out to me-humm, wonder why), so many the wife calls it 'jeep central' and not a wave there or back. maybe cause it was trying to be nice out and they all were on their own little missions to pre-occupied to pay attention. like life in general, some wave days are good, others not so good, but usually it's a good day.

Just keep trying. They'll get it eventually. I was fortunate enough to be tipped off about the practice prior to getting my Jeep. Had I not been tipped off, I'm not sure how long before I would have figured it out. Yesterday I only got 2 waves back out of about 10, today I was 4 out of 5.

When I drove my TJ, most "wavers" were Jeepers that were driving a Jeep that had been modded in some way. If it was stock, there was a higher probability of not getting a wave.

Now that I drive a JKU, its pretty much the same. Stock almost always=no wave. TJ or JK.

But a lot more non-Jeepers stop and look at my JKU than they ever did my TJ.

I wave at them all, I usually don't get one in return, but I figure maybe they will catch on after a while, I here from a lot of people that nobody was crazy about the TJs when they first hit the scene either.
This guy's shop is about 15 minutes from my house and I would upgrade to one of his JKs in a heart beat.

you're missing the point. you're waving at the jeep not the driver. i wave but i don't really pay attention or care if they wave back.

It does tick me off when they don't wave because its the nostalgic culture we have that is slowly dying due to it being an h2 alternative. Maybe they will get the hint as long as we wave.

I get absolutely no waves from the jk's ( or what I like to call the JUST KIDDING's. I honestly think they are ugly but that's me) but I have decided that the wave is gone in colorado. Today when I when wheeling I got two waves back from the 20+ jeepers i saw up there today. And yes all of us miss some of the waves we get. But really 2/20 thats 10% of people. It was actualy depressing when my girlfriend looked at me and said "babe, it's not worth trying the wave Is dead"

I get mixed results from everyone where I live. I personally don't mind the JK. The front bumper and flares look goofy, but it's still a good Jeep.

I will say that there is a specific soccer mom I pass everyday picking her kid up from school. I wave to her everyday and I have yet to see her wave back.

Same here I passed this lady everyday after work around the same time. Always waved at her never got a wave back but the one day I gave up on it she waved at me! So after a couple weeks of waving I think she finally caught on! That made my day haha and she is good looking as well so that's a plus. I like the JKs have nothing against them I'm just not a fan of all the bumper!

Most of them here wave back at you as long as they notice you waving, I even had one guy hold up a huge line of traffic just to let me through to turn. He was damn near hanging out the window waving at me
I wasn`t a fan of them at first but they`ve grown on me, with some tires and few little changes they look good! Oh and I seen the Call of Duty Jeep at our local dealer the other day, it`s looking prettttty good.

I get around 50% waving back at me. In my eyes... A jeep Is a jeep... 2 door, 4 food, hard top, soft top, soccer mom, teen, man or woman its a jeep world! Well, time to get moving and go riding with the top off! L8ter

If they don't wave, flip em off. That's what I always do. They seem to see the finger though
