JK springs in a TJ

I have read that some guys have put JK unlimited springs and shocks on a TJ for a cheap 3" lift. There are some mods to the rear springs, that I understand. Has anyone else done this, I found springs and shocks, brand new take offs for $150 I would try this if I could find some positive feedback.

If you have the 4.0 you wont get 3 inches. I installed the 17 springs up front and gain a little over an inch and a half with my 4.0. It levelled the jeep out cuz the front springs were sagging pretty bad. Its enough to clear my 31's. I didnt mess with the shocks though
