JK wheels on a TJ

I know it's been covered but I can't find the thread. I can get a deal on a brand new set of 08 JK wheels and tires, (all 5) for $200. My O5 X is stock, no BL. I was thinking about buying the set since I need new tires anyways. I know I'm going to need wheel adapters for to put the JK's on, but how how much rub will I be looking at? If any? If at least temporary until I get my 1" BL for now? Thanks to all?

What size tires? That will determine if you get any rub. With the spacers installed, I would think that you would be fine, but if you are getting Rubicon Wheels/tires, you may still get a little rub because they are approximately 32" tires, and would be too large for the wheel openings on your TJ at stock height with full fenders. They would work just for around town, but any wheeling will have your tires into your fender flares/inner fenderwells and will cause rubbing.

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

They were 31's and I don't have to worry about wheelin right now. I just figured with the wheels being 17's plus the 31's I would be kissing the rubber a bit. At least at full turn. Thanks.

I'm sorry I meant 18" wheels with 31's.

I'd pass on those wheels and buy the right aftermarket wheels that fit without the need for an adapter.

you would need wheel spacer adapters.. get the tires than and then buy the right rims with the right backspacing
