Jks 1.25 bl

Anyone using this one or know anything about it? Thinking about ordering it to go ahead and put it on to get a lil more clearance while I'm saving up to get my lift.

JKS 1.25" Body Lift Kit JKS-9904

Thanks!

Yep! That is what I have on my TJ and I don't have any complaints. It is a straight forward install and you shouldn't have any problems if you follow the directions. You may want to consider doing a motor mount lift while your at it.

That's a good body lift. I have the same one. You might wanna install a 1" mml as well

Awesome, that's what I was hoping to hear. I'm planning on doing a tummy tuck as well soon as I get the extra $$, you pretty much have to do the mml for it anyway right? I may look into that while I am at it. Any recommended MML kits?

I did my BL first, then the MML about 6 months later. After doing the MML, it was easy to see why it is recommended to do both. Either way, it worked out. You'll just need to lower your fan shroud a little by drilling new holes in the plastic shroud.

Hmm... ok, so maybe I won't just "have" to do them both at the same time, but I am gonna try to. Are you saying lower the fan shroud when you do the BL, or after the MML? Wouldn't you raise it back up after you do the MML, or am I out in left field lol

Lower it if you only do the BL. Put it back when you do the MML.

I have had a JKS 1.25" BL along with the 1" mml on my Jeep for years. It is one of the first mods I did on it along with a 2" BB way back when.

The Budget Boost is long gone but the JKS BL/mml is still going strong after many years on my Jeep.

Agree with others regarding doing the MML at the same time. That way you don't have to mess with the fan shroud and shifter bracket.

Look for a lifted jeep with no sye and/or tummy tuck i would suggest a mml. If you have an sye or don't have vibes from a lift then really just redrill the fan shroud or use the relocation brackets. Mml is a pain in the ass to install and really not worth it only to avoid fan shroud mods.
