JKS 1.25" BodyLift / NEED steering bracket spacer!

Anyonw know where I can get a spacer or taller bracket for my steering shaft? I recently installed a JKS 1.25" BodyLift on my TJ along with 1" motor mount spacers and as a result the bushings at the shaft joint have seperated. The kit only comes with the 11 body pucks, bolts and the transfer case plate which doesnt get used if installing motor mount lifts. I went with the 1.25" to avoid this kind of headache. Im ready to buy a new shaft but it will do me no good if I cant get it raised up with a new bracket. there is no mention of needing a bracket or even one being made in any of the JKS literature. Ive searched Quadratec high and low but cant find anything. Surely someone can direct me to where I can find a solution, manual steering sucks!!!!!!!

Your going to have to get a new steering shaft I do believe there is no spacer that I know of and when the boot (joint) wears out your shaft is done.

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.

I've never seen anyone have this problem before. That's why the JKS kit doesn't have shaft spacer in it. You can unbolt the knuckle from the frame and weld in a new block under it.

Figures, Just my Luck
Ive also got a 4" suspension lift on it that has been on for several years but that should have no bearing on it to my knowledge
is there a way to replace just this joint/knuckle at the bracket or am i looking at a whole new shaft?

You can replace just that part. But it is a dealership deal. It is pretty simple to replace.

I can count at least 15 jeeps I know of personally running the JKS body lift and none of them have problems with that knuckle. Install a new one and you should be fine.

The 3" BL I removed had a spacer but the JKS 1.25 had none so I removed the spacer and there's no problem. Maybe your bushing got janked up during a past lift install or some other proceedure. Try just replacing the bushing as has been mentioned. Good Luck
