JKS Sway Bar Links

Just installed new adjustable swaybar links on my 98 TJ. I installed per instructions and set the drivers side link and installed. When I went to the passenger side, the mounting hole is about 1-1/4" off. (swaybar is lower than the link bolt hole)
Both links measure the same distance center to center.
I pried up on the swaybar, and installed the bolt.
Is this the right way to do it? Or do I set one side, and adjust the other side where the hole lines up, regardless of the measurement?

With your jeep on a flat surface, adjust them so that they slide onto the pins without having to pry on them to get them on. It's the correct way, because not all sway bars are perfectly flat.

1999 XJ Four door, mostly stock for now, but I am in the process of building a custom plate bumper.

If you get the chance, it would really be nice to see some pics of your project
