Junk Yard Finds (interchangable parts)

what are some parts that are found at junkyards or can universally fir on a tj. i know of xj tierods, durango alternator, durango/dacota steering box lets hear it all. i need some ideas.

bump for this topic! great idea!... is it true that the XJ has a stronger front axle that has a higher pinion, that swaps in?

XJ HP Dana 30 will bolt in, look for 93-99 models no CAD system and 2000-2001 are Low pinion

ZJ rear disc brakes for dana 35 should also work

picked up a 130amp alternator out of a v8 98 grand cherokee for $35 that bolted in place of my 90amp alternator(i have a 98 TJ)

I think there is a model of the Dodge Durango that shares the steering gearbox as the TJ....

Head light switch out of a Dakota, not sure what year, will fit a 98 TJ. Check with your local parts store.
