I thought the color was the sahara tan not grey?

True story, my best friend's parents had a place in Steamboat Springs. Their neighbor was Spielburg(sp?) and they bought him a JP jeep as his first vehicle.

What's with the slate interior with the khaki roll bar pads? A bold early 90's move! I expect this level of detail in your build. :-)

That's my answer.
P.S. They were not grey they were tan. Like a sahara tan, I bet the color code on the previous page is acurate.

its a dark green/grey combo that was only available on saharas. not as uncommon as you would think, all 92-95 had either spice interior or green/grey

I agree. I will most deffinately be checking your build with a fine tooth comb. Go big or go home. I can't wait to see it really get under way. I'll be referencing this thread when I get my hands on a YJ.

I was just thinking about this as I watched Jurassic Park the other night.

I think jeep 18 is the most popular. But that was just a tourist jeep. If I were to make one I would only use Jeep 12.

Jeep 12 was when they were trying to steal the dinosaur embryos and ended up crashing into a waterfall. That seems much more Jeep like.

Can't wait to see this project get going!

Also here is a good site to look at:

Awesome idea! Can't wait to see it finished.

Hold onto your butts. I was like 10 when the movie came out so this was my favorite line.
