Just Bought one YAY

Hey guys

Just moved to cali from Aus an bought my frist jeep always kinda wanted one well its a 97 model 4cyc, 3 in lift kit, bigger wheels, air aid filter, compared to the 4wd I used to go shooting off this has no balls ahaha, I was wondering just minor cheap simple ways to increase the fuel economy and power a little bit
i came by this just want to see if anyone had any experiance with these chips and how hard are they to install by myself thanks in advance

Chips are worthless on the TJ's and the 4 cyl. You most likely need to regear!

There is not really anything you can do to improve the performance of the 4 banger shy of gears. Since you say it has a lift and bigger wheels I would check to see if the previous owner had it regeared. I doubt they did. I'm running a 4 cylinder 5 speed with 31 inch tires on the stock 4:10 gears and I noticed a decent power loss with just those small tires.

Cool thanks for the quick reply guys, I guess Ill just leave it an save my money and upgrade in a year or so when I get the $$$ till then its a blast to have, Thanks again
