Just Jeeps in Hurst Texas

I have been wanting to go to just Jeeps in Hurst Texas for about a year and finally got over there today. The man there who said he was the owner had the part I needed in fact he had several of them but wouldn't sell one to me. He said that's what I get for goin off on my own and buying a jeep. My wife and my girl were with me so instead of popping back at him I just said lets go. He said just go. I am looking for a the tail gate rail for a soft top. Guess I will check eBay cause I sure ain't gonna spend a dime there.

*EDITED*
Sounds like someone you wouldn't want to give your business too in the first place. Thanks for the warning about them.

I've been there. My experience there was not like yours, but not good either. hard to believe he would turn down business, no matter how small, but that is their right. I hope you find what you need soon with better luck. Ill keep an eye out for one and let you know if I run across one.

I bought the same part you are looking for from them a few months ago - no issues - granted I didn't deal with the "owner" (he is quite the character from the times I have talked with him) I just deal with the guy that sits in on the right when you walk in the door.

I have bought a soft top frame - grab handles and the rear window bar - went Thursday to get a right front blinker cover. Ur they are closed on thursdays - maybe I've just been lucky with not dealing with the owner

Buddy of mine bought a jeep from them and a few months after he bought it the engine blew - they were like " sorry you bought it as is"

Being a former small business owner I can see that stance - however you don't have to be a dick about it

Only reason I go by there is they have the things I need for the same price as I can get off eBay and I can just go pick it up (well if they are open...)

Check with Collins Bros in Wylie, TX. I've done business with them a few times and never had a problem.

Looks like I need to do a road trip just to diss his keister. Luckily he is up by my sister so when I go see her next month, I will have some fun With all the reputable Jeep dealers in Texas, you would think he would treat all customers with respect just to stay in business. Thanks for the heads up. Luckily he is WAY north of me. I just found an awesome shop in League City. The Shop Off Road a.k.a Critter Gitters. This guy has been in Business for over 30 years and was very respectful when I talked with him yesterday. Will definitely be doing business with them.
