Just joined the TJ club.

I just got a 2000 TJ. Runs great but has some small rust issues. Frame and floor boards. Just want to hold it over till summer.

Has anyone used bondo on floor boards near the plugs?

Take an angle grinder and get all the rust off the floor boards. Use JB Weld putty or liquid steel to fill in the areas by the drain holes. Then apply rustoleum or similar to spray the floors. There is a product called POR 15 that will work the best. That's what I used on mine. Just did them this weekend.

Thank you.

Would you then weld it when the time is better?
