Just me?

Anyone else notice a HP increase with a fresh tank of gas? It's pretty significant with my 2.5l

It should be more sluggish with the additional weight.

Gas has a pretty short shelf life so possibly if your heep was sitting for a while on an old full tank...

"A while" for a tank of ethanol fuel is 4-6 weeks. After that time, it does begin to separate. If you're letting fuel sit for that length of time, you need to use StarTron or a similar product to prevent phase separation.

Just you. I know when I have a full tank I get into the throttle more because I know it'll be a couple of days before I need to refuel in most cases.

what if it's sat for 3+ years?

I went with draining the tank, flushing the tank and lines, and spraying the carb out real good...
