Huge improvement over the ugly orange ones. I'll be doing this soon as well. Nice mod.

I agree about it looking good with silver. Did they come with orange bulbs?

Orange bulbs give you the "fried egg" look because the orange does show through. You can get leds (clear when off), "ghost, chrome, mirror" bulbs that are silver when off or the cheap way and lightly frost the bulb with silver paint.

I have clear corners on my truck and have the silver bulbs that glow orange.. I need to do this mod to my Jeep, but will use the silver bulbs on it too..

Nice Mod.,

Mine. I have 194 leds in the sides and Silverstars in the front markers. Silverstars have a blueish/chrome which goes with the body color.

OP; I think they look sweet and would look even better w the leds for them, that way you get rid of the 'fried egg' look..

I think changing out those amber lights makes the jeep look much cleaner. Smoked lenses would look good on the silver too, that's what I used on my patriot blue. Plus the "smoked" doesn't reflect the orange bulb which results in the fried egg effect.
