I use 8 - 10psi off-road and 26 - 28psi on-road, both depending on the load I have in the rig.

I was playing in my Grand Cherokee this weekend and went on a road I've done a bunch of times. Right at the beginning there were guys in a built up Scout and a really nice TJ putting air back in their tires. So here's my point (I'll get there, don't rush me!): I think people air down too much. At the drop of a hat. At the sight of a rock. If this continues they'll be letting air out when they hit gravel.

That Scout could have climbed Mt Everest. And he was airing down on a road I do in my WJ.

I almost never air down. I also almost never have a way to pump tires back up, so 8-10 is way out of the question.

i know this may start a riot but anything below 32 seems too low to me (on road). But idk maybe the extra 4-5 psi makes for a more even wear

Awesome feedback fellas... i love it...

everyone keep it rollin'...i know there are more of you out there who feel a special way towards how you roll with your psi at a certain level for every type of terrain...forget just 33s...EVERYONE....

Do you air down or do you just let it ride?

let's hear all the stories you have

I know run 28 and it runs a lot smoother than when I had it 32. But I go from 28-30. On the trail I am about 12-14.

I run 28 on road, and I get a softer ride then when i had 32. I am also getting a more even wear pattern. I was a hard believer in 32, But i've found out-a jeep ain't no car. It def. likes to ride at 28. I also have 31's on 15.

my first post was for lifted and 33" or so tires, i run 32 to 35 in my other jeeps that are more daily drivers w/ 30" and 31" tires, and i agree with geoff to, i only air down when i'm wheelin for real, not just a dirt road or some minor trails.
