KC HiLiTES Fog Light Replacements

New to the forum and the jeep world and have a newbee question. If I buy the KC HiLiTES fog light replacements, can I replace the 55W bulbs with 100W without messing with wiring, fuses, etc.?'

I've seen people do it on much cheaper lights, so I don't see why not.

A long time ago I tried it and the extra heat from the bulbs melted the internals. Also they were too bright for street use. (They were probably KC clones.) So it was a short lived experiment for me.

Thanks for the info! I only use them in foggy conditions or bad visibility situations, so I'm not too worried about being too bright as long as I can see.
