KC Replacement Fog Lights

Has anyone bought the replacement KC fog lights that apparently just plug in on the bumper where the factory fog lights are?

If so, are the as easy as they say or did you run into any issues putting them on?

Thanks!

I bought them when my factory plastic hella 500s broke. The rubicon fog lights are a little different than factory TJs, but they still use the factory plug and the stalk fog light switch.

The only issue I had with them, was the fact that the light pattern and output was the same as the factory hella fogs (which isn't really a bad thing), and you have to drill the hole out a little larger than stock to fit them. With the KC covers off, they look like factory fogs but metal not plastic. The were plug and play etc., just got to drill the mounting hole out a few sizes larger. The wiring is also a little short (tight), but so are the factory harness's on the fogs.

Thanks for the info. They look pretty cool but it'd be nice to just get some metal covers for the factory lights. I hear the KC covers don't fit the stock lights.

Thanks again!

When you drill the hole bigger be sure to put some kind of sealant around all that new bare metal.
