Leak? Need Help.

So I haven't crawled under my Jeep in awhile and I checked my oil today and found it was a little low. So I crawled underneath and this is what I saw. Ideas?

Looks like the rear main seal possibly. But not for sure unless you split the tranny/motor and check it out. A little leaking or seeping is normal with higher mileage motors but it will progressively get worse if it is. Normally judge it by how much your losing, a quart a month or longer isnt bad. But some folks are particular bout it.

Thanks for the input. It's been 4 months since I changed my oil and it leaves no marks on my driveway. To get it back to "safe" level was half a quart.

Actually quite common and no need to crack the engine from the trans. You can replace the rear main seal easily--biggest hassle is dropping the oil pan. You may have to remove some exhaust pieces, you may not. Either way, about 2-3 hours and $60 including oil change.
