Leaking front seal?

I was working under my jeep today and noticed this...

Attachment 125210

At first I thought a line or hose of some sort broke but looking into it more I also noticed this...

Attachment 125211

It looks wet underneath the front seal of the dif.

Does anyone know what this is and how I could fix it?

Looks like a blown pinion seal. Look up a video on a replacement isn't very hard but if you over tighten your yoke bolt consequences may be dire and VERY EXPENSIVE.

Did mine last year. I think the seal was 28 bucks at NAPA and it took me about an hour to replace, no big deal. if you do it yourself pick up a seal removal tool.
