Question Leather Seats

Hey, I have a Rubicon with leather seats. I never realized how much dew forms on them at night when i have my top down until last night when I went out at 2am.....they were pretty wet. Anyone know if this will really damage the leather??

Are you sure they're leather? I have the same thing from the factory and they're actually pleather.

It could be aftermarket leather...but most likely it's good ol' pleather.

Did you buy it new?

If it IS leather, its gotta be a dealer installed option. Whoever heard.....a Jeep with leather seats.

Send a message via AIM to jeeptales
I can check

Send me you Vin and the current milage.

I'll tell you what it came with from the plant.

If it is aftermarket leather I can give you th number to some one who would know how to care for it. A CatSkins Dealer.

they don't come stock with leather...it has to be aftermarket or by the dealer...i didn't even know they came with pleather!...by the way, if it is leather it probably won't soak up like a cloth seat and it will run down it so it can't be worse than cloth

I have had mine saturated with water/rain before and had no damage later on. Most of the water just ran right off.
