Arrow LED Backup / Reverse Light Bulbs

Has anyone replaced their backup light bulbs with something brighter, perhaps an LED? I don't have the visibility I'd like when backing up and would like to replace the bulbs instead of adding an auxiliary light.

I've found a couple possible solutions. Putco makes replacement bulbs, but the reviews on Amazon are terrible.

Superbright LEDS has a number of bulbs with the right base, but they have the backup light bulbs in the same section as the tail light bulbs, so I'm not sure which of their many offerings would be the proper one to try.

No matter what the stock lens is not going to put out much light. If you want a led just go to ebay straight from overseas. Probably cheaper. Ive bought lots of leds from there.

I replaced my taillights with truck-lite
Truck-Lite - Catalog Product : Super 44 , Stop/Turn/Tail, LED 4'' Sealed, 6, 17 & 42 Diode Pattern

can be found at most NAPA's i think.

was pretty easy install in a couple of hours. Old lights come out with a screw driver, cut holes with a hole saw, splice new wiring in and plop them in. Also need a new turn signal relay, which can also be found at NAPA. i LOVE how bright they are, and love the unique look
