LED Fender Lights

Can anyone recommend LED front fender/turn signal lights that will work on a '03 TJ? I have rear LED's and want to balance it out. I would like something that just swaps put the factory lights. Thanks.

no no no. you'll over pay from ANY led website! get them off ebay! SAME THING just way cheaper!! are you wanting to do both fender lights or just the front facing ones?

Ive thought about getting clear lenses and getting these they switch back and forth between white and amber. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-3157-60-SM...#ht_3798wt_952

and you get 2 of them for $8!

I think you will need an electronic flasher also, if you do front & back.

Nah just modify the blinker relay. The guide is somewhere in the forum but I'm on my phone atm so I can't post a link.

I actually tried the ones off ebay and they wouldnt last long at all. I ended getting my leds off of superbrightleds and they have been burning bright for close to a year now. Did the dash and hvac controls as well as the the side markers and front turn signals. You do get what you pay for. And I think the flasher relay mod is only for 97-2000 models. I ended up ordering a new flasher relay here...

To make the front turn signals work correctly, you'll have to wire in a 6 ohm resistor (one lead to positive and one lead to negative(somewhere inline going to each bulb). It will trick the turn signal relay into thinking that an incandescent bulb is still in the socket. If you don't do this, the turn signal relay will think the bulb is out and your turn signals will blink too fast (LEDs have little to no resistance). It's easy to do and you can get the resistors for $9.00 on e-bay. The back ones likely had the resistors built in because they are for both turn signal and break lights.

Or, as Jeep tin man said, you need an electronic flasher relay that doesn't depend on resistance for the flasher timing.

You don't have to order a new flasher. You can pick it up at the local parts store for 14.00 or so. I just got a EP-26 electronic flasher from Pep Boys.

I've also bought plenty of LEDs straight from Hong Kong. No problems on the vehicles and I have lots of low volt landscape lighting that I switched to 194 leds and have been on every night for over two years.
