LED flasher/taillights question

Ok... I recently bought my Jeep, and it had the LiteDOT leds.. They were the old style and had a lot of leds out on the passenger side. The guys at ORO were awesome, and after talking to them, sent me a pair with the new style for a pretty good discount.

Anyhow, I was getting very annoyed with the hyper-blink that I had going on because of the leds with stock flasher. So I did some research and thanks to this site, found a model flasher that I could use that is led compatible. I ended up getting Tridon EP27. And BAM!!! Fixed the hyper-blink.... But now my hazards are like super hyper-blink... I mean even faster than a strobe light.

So the question is.... Is this the case with everyone, or just me??

At Autozone, the sales rep up by make and model and it actually showed a Tridon LM470. But it was $15 more. And he said that from what he saw, there was no difference... Would this one fix the hazards?

When I got mine I had to get the one for my year it was like 15$ the ones for newer jeeps were 40$ so you do have to get the one for your year Im guessing.

Not sure the year of your jeep but if it's an 01-06 this will solve your problem. I installed one after my LEDs and it works great...

Yup, that's exactly it... The EP27 is for early model TJ's. While the LM470 is for '01 and up..

Oh well, turn signals are working fine now.. Guess I shouldn't be such a cheap bast**d! Lol.

Thanks guys! I'm sure I will be buying one in the coming weeks.
