LED Headlights?

wondering if anyone had led head lights did some searching on google nothing really came up. well, if you do would you say there beneficial or just a waste of money?

I've wondered this too. They are very expensive. I dont care how nice they are I am not spending $700 on headlights.

OR you could get these im im thinking of getting these and just wiring up the LEDs as DRL's and their a projector headlight that takes a H4 bulb! eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

The only LEDs are by Trucklite. 3/23/2009 - World’s First 7” Round LED Headlamp Shows Bright Possibilities for Commercial Applications You can get them from a number of places but they are 500-600 a pair.

PURE JUNK. A number of people have gotten those and they are not a projector. All they have is a fake lens in front of the bulb.

JW Speaker makes 7" LED head lights. They are pretty freakin' awesome.

From everything I've read and seen, the TruckLite and JW headlights are everything they are cracked up to be... but you really have to consider the price tag. For a pair of headlights from Trucklite, I think the cheapest I've seen is under $500. The JW ones are closer to $700 IIRC.

I love LED lighting, in fact I have some flood lights from Rigid Industries that are amazing, but for headlights, I'd much prefer a good halogen or good HID system. But for auxiliary lighting, you cannot beat LED's.
