Left turn signal problems with lights on

I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4cyl.
When I have my headlights on the left turn signal does not flash, with the headlights off the left turn signal flashes but so does the odometer . Right side works fine. I replaced the left multi-function switch this did not fix it. Checked the ground at the tail light, cleaned up bolt threads and body threads still not fixed. Can any one help here??

May be something in the flasher module. That is similar to what mine is doing after a full LED conversion.

You may have a bad or incorrect bulb somewhere. Buy one of each and start replacing each bulb and testing it. It's a small investment and you will need them one day anyway.

I have replaced the Left tail light bulb but no luck and I have had this jeep for 3 years and no other bulb has been replaced to cause the problem. Maybe the relay next??

You have three other bulbs on that circuit, two side markers and front and rear turn signal. Check them all, this sounds like a bulb or corrosion problem.

I'm having the same problem but with my right turn signal on my 99 wrangler. Where is that 4 prong flat plug located at?
