Lesson learned!

So I decided to go on a "short" jaunt through some fields yesterday. It started off great! We found an open area with a few parallel dirt roads with a few puddles here and there (nothin crazy). We ( I ) got bored and decided to migrate to another place where I knew there was mud. We drive around and have a good time, and I decide to leave (Had to be at work). Well on the way out, I'm goin along, not 10 ft, from another set of my tracks, and all of sudden my back end sinks, and I'm goin NO WHERE...I try to rock myself out with no luck. Finally I give in and start callin people. It took 4 different vehicles to pull me out! I finally had to be pulled out at a 45 deg. angle!

Lessons learned?
1. Go with another vehicle
2. Have full sized shovel
3. Install lockers!

I was stuck for 3 hours, and ended up bein 1 1/2 hours late to work! My boss was cool and understood though

Photos on the way...

1st rule of offroading...GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE
2nd rule...STAY ON THE TRAIL-learn TREAD LIGHTLY
3rd...we hope you had permission to be on private propery...farmers don't appreciate finding ruts and holes in their fields!

At least you were able to call someone to come help!

There wasn't really much of a trail, and it's behind a neighborhood that is being built. It was private property granted, but well out of their way of building.

It doesn't look that deep, but it was so soupy that the right two tires (the only ones that spun) kept rutting it out, and after a while the tires were spinning freely!

Like NHRubicon said man you have to adhere to TREAD Lightly. Doing things like this especially on private property without permission doesn't give us a good name. Always stick to designated areas.
