Lets see some jerry can mounts

Was at crown auto warehouse outlet buying my sye and super winch raised winch mount and had a Jerry can tool box catch my eye. Only $75 and I guess else where it's like $100. I want to see what everyone has done for a mount. I don't have a swing out tire carrier and I want a mount that I can secure/ lock the can to so no one steals my tools. Let's see what everyone has.

They have gas/fluid cans plus versital containers and many mounting/locking options.

I'm queer for their gear

Make sure to call them for their lastest solution to your needs

I'm in the same boat as you, I would love to have a gas can but I do not have a tire swing yet.

old fashioned jerry can mounts

Here are my three mounts, been working great since 2004,, the only one that will lock is the trailer mounted one. If I really needed to lock up the two on the jeep, I'd use a bicycle cable lock, but I've never had the need to lock them

That one mounted on the trailer was originally intended to mount on the spare tire, but would not work with stock moab rims.

I saw jerry can mounts at my local army/navy store for $30. Flat molded steel OD green platform that can be bolted to anything. Then a strap goes over the top to hold it in.

Yes it is actually, and so far so good,, but there are two link pins used to keep the weight off of the tail gate.. I only use the link pin on the driver side, as the pin on the hinge side is redundant.. Both Racks, top and rear, are Warrior racks, as well as the diamond plated corner armor.
